Safe Sport

The USA Swimming Member clubs are required to implement the updated USA Swimming Minor Athlete Abuse Prevention Policy template /hslsc/UserFiles/Image/QuickUpload/customizable-club-minor-athlete-abuse-prevention-policy-_081853.docx. It will be effective for all clubs September 1, 2021.

USA Swimming has provided language for briefing officials, marshals, timers and any other "applicable adults" prior to meets.  It is found at /hslsc/UserFiles/Image/QuickUpload/language-for-meets_082140.docx .

The following "Written Permissions" templates have been updated June 10, 2021 and require updating on each club's website.

The Hawaiian Swimming Safe Sport Program and Reference Guide is a thorough help center to assist teams in becoming Safe Sport Recognized.  The information has been updated as of 2/1/21.  Please use the above MAAPP and Written Permission templlates to replace those found in the Guide.
