Big MACs Group
Description: The Big MACs program is a
beginning swimming group with the major focus on the learning of
all four strokes in a fun teaching environment.
Objectives: A developmental approach to creating
body awareness while teaching the fundamentals of strokes mechanics
and swimming techniques.
The Big MACs is our entry level group. Swimmers must be able to
swim 25 yards freestyle and 25 yards backstroke. This group is an
introduction to competitive swimming, but is mainly an
instructional group, focusing on the four competitive strokes,
having fun and perfecting starts and turns. It is recommended that
swimmers attend practice 2 times per week. Big Macs practice for 45
minutes.

Bronze Group
This is our level ahead of Big Macs,
depending on ability. This group practices 1 hour.

Silver Group
From the Bronze group, athletes move
into this group. Athletes in this group focus mainly on improving
stroke technique and endurance. Silver Group practices 1 hr
and 30 min.

Workout Days/Times: M-Th 6:30-8pm and Weekends (Check
calendar for specifics.)
Gold Group
From the Silver group,
athletes move into this group. This is our highest level training
group. Gold usually practices 1 1/2-2hrs.

calendar for specifics.)
