Southeastern Swim Club hosts the
SwimFest in mid-October. This great invitational differs a bit from
the standard invite format; on Friday night, all 13 and overs
entered participate in the Sprint Championships. 50’s of all
strokes are offered, and the cumulative time from all four
50’s are calculated to crown a King and Queen for the night
for each age (not age group!). On Saturday and Sunday a "normal"
lineup of events is offered. For all 12 and unders, this
invitational is offered in standard format; i.e. distance events on
Friday evening, with shorter events on Satruday and
Sunday.
Southeastern Swim Club has also hosted the
Indiana Swimming Short Course Age Group Championships for the past
several years. Information for this meet is avaiable via both
Indiana Swimming’s and Southeastern Swim Club’s website
starting each year in late February.
Long Course
Summer Season
In early to mid-July, SSC hosts the Summer
Sizzler, a succesful, fun, and very competitive 2 and 1/2 day meet.
This meet follows the standard format; distance events on Friday
with the shorter events on Saturday and Sunday. This meet is a
timed final event.
For 2009, due to USA Swimming Nationals,
SSC’s Summer Sizzle is a 2 day meet- taking place only on
