The Tigers group is the
third level of competitive training for TAQ. At this level,
aerobic training is introduced through distance freestyle and IM
based sets, a focus on maintaining & developing proper
technique, developing long term vs. short term goal setting
techniques, and nutritional awareness. A seasonal training
mentality will be introduced which will prepare athletes to succeed
through all levels of swimming. All swimmers will learn the
discipline & dedication needed to "train" through soreness
& fatigue in mid-season in order to peak at the end of season
championship meets, as dictated by the coaching
staff.
