Tiger Practice Times: M/W/F 5:00 - 6:30 PM, T/TH 4:30 - 6:30 PM (dry-land), Sat TBA

The Tiger Group is the third level of competitive training for Tiger Aquatics. At this level, aerobic training is introduced through distance freestyle and IM based sets. There will be a focus on maintaining & developing proper technique, developing long term vs. short term goal setting techniques, and nutritional awareness. A seasonal training mentality will be introduced which will prepare athletes to succeed through all levels of swimming. All swimmers will learn the discipline & dedication needed to "train" through soreness & fatigue in mid-season in order to peak at the end of season championship meets, as dictated by the coaching staff. Tigers practice 5 days a week M-F with occasional Saturday practices offered.
This group prepares our athletes for the Senior & Elite Groups. Basic dryland training is introduced for this group as well. Dryland training will be on Tuesday & Thursday afternoons, beginning a half hour prior to the regular swim practice times.
Equipment Needed: Kickboard, Pull Buoy, Fins, Paddles & Snorkel
Dryland days: workout clothes, running shoes.
