Now that the ’08-’09 season is
about halfway finished (it’s going fast!), I took a look at
USA swimming’s lists of their National Top 20 rankings for
each age 11 & over. LAC made a few
appearances on the lists. The following
swimmers are on the list but make no mistake, this is a product of
every swimmer on the team. The
achievements these swimmers have done have been done with the help
of every one of their teammates from pushing them in practice to
supporting them at meets.
Emily Cameron placed on the following 14 year
old women’s lists.
100 yard Breaststroke – 5th
place (1:03.77)
200 yard Breaststroke – 10th
place (2:20.23)
200 yard I.M. – 12th place
(2:06.05)
We also had two 13-14 year old relays on the
lists!
200 Free Relay – 13th place
(1:41.90) with a team of:
Kasey Mann, Paige Daniel, Emily Cameron, and Lizzie Ebert
400 Medley Relay – 16th place
(4:06.15) with a team of:
Amanda Lam, Emily Cameron, Kasey Mann, and Lizzie Ebert
I would also like to note that each one of
these swims are LAC records! With a
quick count, we have already broken at least 12 LAC records already
this season!
