High School Swimming Enrichment
Program
The Lancaster Aquatic Club is
pleased to offer a swimming enrichment program for high school
swimmers for the 2009/2010 season. This program is designed for the
athlete who may participate in other sports and wishes to enhance
their swimming performance during the High School Swimming Season.
This program is not to replace your High School practice but
it will prepare you for the High School Swimming Season, supplement
your training during the season and offer opportunities to train
when the season has ended.
The goals for this program
are:
· To enhance stroke technique in all 4
strokes
· To provide supplemental training to allow the
High School swimmer to meet his/her goals for the
season
· To offer each swimmer the ability to compete in
USS meets if the athlete so chooses
This program will be offered
from Oct 1, 2009 through the Lancaster-Lebanon High School League/
District Meets in February.
The practice will be from 8:30
PM-9:30 PM , Monday through Thursday at the Phoenix Academy, 630
Rockland St, Lancaster PA.
To encourage participation, the
cost for the very affordable 5-month program is $457.00 ($5.00 per
practice). This includes registration in USA swimming which would
allow participation in USS meets with LAC should the swimmer choose
to do so. Space is limited to 30 swimmers – first
come-first served. Payment for the program may be paid in two
installments due on Oct 15 and Nov 15 or paid in full. When sending
paperwork to reserve placement, please include a check for the USS#
fee of 57.00. Checks payable to Lancaster Aquatic
Club.
If you have a current USS #,
please note this on your registration. A transfer form will be
necessary.
