We had a great turnout for
tryouts on 14Jul and 16Jul!! Impressive. If your questions were not
all answered or if you still have questions, please email Chris Rice. Important things to
remember:
1) ALL new ASC swimmers will
be required to register online (this website-also referred to as
Team Unify/TU) on/after 21Jul09. Please register for the group the
coach indicated during tryouts. Your position on ASC will be secure
once you register. You will be required to pay $100 non-refundable
deposit via credit card/ACH. The remaining balance will be billed
to your TU account. Details below/also included in the registration
process.
2) All new ASC swimmers will also be required to pay the
Arundel Olympic Swim Center (AOSC) fees or Big Vanilla Pasadena
fees-BVP (depending on your practice location). The
AOSC registration will be available on 29Jul09 or you can pay
at AOSC. If you will be practicing at BVP, see the front desk at
BVP or speak with the coaches.
2) If you attended tryouts and
decided you will not be participating in meets but want your
swimmer to practice, you will not be a member of the Annapolis Swim
Club and you will need to register with Anne Arundel County
Parks/Rec. The registration opens on 29Jul09.
Once you register online with
ASC, you will begin to receive emails regarding team
information/important dates.
A new parent meeting will be held
in September.
