Fundraising
Overview

Condors families have a
mandatory fundraising requirement to supplement the revenue we
generate from membership dues, as they alone are not enough to fund
club operations. We have put this policy in place to minimize the
direct out-of-pocket expenses to our families and is consistant
with models in place at most of the top clubs in USA
Swimming.
The minimum family
requirement is $250 and $50 for each additional swimmer and is due
April 1, 2010.
Under the requirements of
this program, any family that does not wish to put a modest degree
of effort towards fundraising can simply pay directly for any or
all of this requirement.
Once
your family’s minimum requirement has been met, your family
will then receieve half the additional amount they raise in Condors
credit. Your family’s account will then be credited
proportionately to the additional amount raised, up to a maximum of
$250 per family.

America
|
|
| October 17, 2009: This
fundraiser was primarily done by our Gold and Senior groups.
Athletes swim all 13 High School championship events during
practice, and times are recorded. We ask that each swimmer print
the form
found here and bring a $10
donation to practice. ALL proceeds go towards cancer research,
prevention and treatment. Click

| Lotto Calendar
Raffle
|
|
|
November 1, 2009 - April
30, 2010: Each family will be given 5 raffle tickets per swimmer.
Each ticket is sold for $20 and has a total prize payout of $7,500
and 180 chances to win. Winning numbers are determined by the NYS
Lottory Win 4 at 7:30pm every night. If the Win 4 numbers match
your ticket’s numbers, then you win that day’s amount.
The day’s amount can be found on the corresponding calendar.
Each ticket has multiple chances to win and cash prizes will be
mailed every friday to the address listed on the ticket stub.

| Swim-A-Thon
|
|
| Late January/Early
February: Swimmers raise money by getting sponsored to swim laps of
the pool. Donations are given either per lap or as a flat rate and
awards will be given to the swimmers that raise the most money.

| Entertainment
Books
|
|
|
On-Going: Each family is
asked to sell 4 books for $25 each (the first few pages, pay for
itself). The books consist of coupons that can be used at various
local businesses in Westchester and Rockland Counties as well as
the Hudson Valley. There are prizes for the kids based on the
number of books they sell.

| Swim Meet Event
Sponsorship
|
|
| On-Going: Any family
interested can sponsor an event. This allows you to place a
personal message in the meet program above the event of your
choice. Individual events are $10 and relays are $20.

| Corporate
Sponsorship
|
|
| On-Going: The Condors are
currently seeking sponsorship from local businesses. We have a
variety of different sponsorship packages ranging from $100 for a
Meet Booster Sponsor to $5,000 for a World Champion Sponsor.
