Swimmers must be physically and mentally prepared to commit to
consistent, higher training year-round, from September till
August.
Swimming must be one of the top priorities for these
athletes.
Swimmers are required to have Speedo Sectional qualifying
times.
Swimmers must be committed to train at a minimum of 9 practices
each week.
Swimmers will focus on a continuation of stroke technique and a
strong emphasis in power, speed and
endurance.
Dry land, yoga, and weight training will be mandatory at least two
times per week.
Practices will be structured towards state and national levels of
competition and will be expected to travel with the team at least
three times per year.
Swimmers are required to compete in twelve meets each year with the
possibility of Long course training in the summer as well as a
winter training trip.
