This is the information page for the Roeland Park Stingrays -
the summer team for the city of Roeland Park managed by Johnson
County Park & Recreation District. This page will be
updated regularly in May, June and July. At any other time of
year, you may call the JCPRD Registration office at 913-831-3359.

Announcements:
This is the final
week of the 2009 Roeland Park Stingrays season. We have
completed all of our dual meets and are headed to All-City
Championships. On Thursday, We’ll have our team picnic
- see below
Picnic Details: All Roeland Park Stingrays swimmers, parents
and siblings (and coaches) are invited to a picnic to celebrate our
2009 season. The picnic will be held at Antioch Park under
shelter #3. We’ll be grilling hotdogs. Swimmers do
not need to bring any money, but we’d like each family to
bring a large bag of chips or a side dish to share. If you
prepare a side dish please be aware that we do have swimmers with
food allergies. We would appreciate you knowing the
ingredients in the food that you bring. Dogs, buns, plates,
napkins, condiments and drinks will be
provided.
The picnic will
be 6:00-7:30pm on Thursday evening, July
16th.
Antioch Park is
at 6501 Antioch Road. Enter the park from the entrance at the
bottom of the hill on Antioch Road just south of Shawnee Mission
Parkway. To get to shelter 3, take the driveway to the top of
the hill and park in front of Building C. Shelter 3 is just
down the hill from the parking lot next to the pond.
EVERYONE ON THE TEAM IS WELCOME TO ATTEND THE PICNIC. SEE

Practices will be held at the Roeland Park Aquatic Center
Monday-Friday 9:00am-10:00am. Practices will start on Monday,
June 1 and finish on Friday, July 10. For questions regarding
