Tsunami Swim Team Recognized by USA Swimming

The Club Recognition Program is a voluntary program to recognize clubs that demonstrate a commitment to long term club growth, development and stability. Clubs must meet markers measuring business and organizational success, parent and volunteer development, coach development and education, and athlete development and performance. Club’s are ranked Level 1 through Level 4.

Tsunami is currently ranked Level 2 and actively working towards Level 3.

A Team of Excellence... 

Tsunami Swim Team of Kansas City has been recognized by USA Swimming’s National Club Excellence Program.

The Club Excellence Program recognizes the top clubs, up to 200, in the country. Teams are scored based off a FINA Long Course Performance Rating system.  Tsunami has achieved Silver Medal status in the USA Swimming Club Excellence Program.  The focus of this voluntary program is to identify and reward up to 200 USA Swimming clubs that have attained a high level of athlete performance as well as organizational success. 

As a result Tsunami has been awarded funding from USA Swimming to enrich the program futher.
