About
Us:
Our Summer Strypers swim
team (not to be confused with our year-round Strypers) is
recreational in focus and has an emphasis on fun, friends and
improvement.
The Summer Strypers Swim Team competes weekly against other teams
in the South Shore Swim League. This provides an excellent
introduction to the fundamentals of competitive swimming. It is
also a fantastic vehicle for swimmers new to the previous Short
Course season to showcase the things they have learned.
This team attracts current Strypers but is largely comprised of
swimmers new to competitive swimming.

At Millpond: Monday and Wednesday beginner and
intermediate groups will practice in the

Tryouts:
There are no scheduled
tryouts but swimmers must be
able to complete one full, legal and continuous 25yard length of
freestyle and backstroke.
Equipment:
Swimmers will require a
team suit (different from previous seasons), goggles and flippers.
Caps will be provided. An equipment vendor will be available
beginning at 5pm at Hanover for your equipment needs or go to www.kbswimandsports.com
and order online.
There will be a mandatory parents
meeting at 6:00pm on June 22nd at the Hanover Millpond facility.
There will also be a parents meeting at 6:00pm on June 22nd at the
Quincy facility.
