The Peddie Aquatic Association (PAA), a registered United States Swimming club, has made its mark on U.S. Swimming by consistently placing among the top teams at Sectionals, Junior Nationals, the U.S. Open and US Nationals. The Peddie School has a rich history of swimming dating back 1910 when the first team made it's mark. The Peddie Aquatic Association was formed in the 1980s to serve the athletes competing in local and national USA Swimming competitions.

Peddie has produced a number of athletes that have represented the United States at various international competitions, including the Olympics, World Championships, World University Games, FINA World Cup, Pan Pacific, Pan Am Games Goodwill Games and CARIFTA (Caribbean) Championships. This elite list includes Olympic gold medalists Nelson Diebel '90 (Barcelona 1992) and BJ Bedford '90 (Sydney 2000), former American record holder and 1992 Olympian Royce Sharp '91 (Barcelona), and 1996 Olympian Peter Wright '91(Atlanta).
