Denton ISD Aquatics has been a staple of Texas aquatic sports since 1974. Since 1974, Denton ISD has been laying the solid foundation that current successses are built upon. Denton ISD Aquatics formed the Denton ISD Aquatics Alumni Association to give recognition to those who have laid this foundation and inspire current student-athletes in continuing their pursuit of higher education, collegiate athletics, and being leaders in their respected community. Denton ISD Aquatics Alumni Association has four goals:

1. Give Recognition and Thanks:

     Nothing great has been accomplished by lone individuals. Greatness can only be accomplish by teams. Denton ISD Aquatics Alumni Association gives recognition and shows gratitude to those aquatic student-athletes who have contributed in laying the solid foundation that the current successes are built upon. 2. Prepare Student-Athletes for Pursuits after High School:

     Denton ISD Aquatics provides their student-athletes with the resources to develop their potential. Through the Denton ISD Aquatics Alumni Association, Denton ISD Aquatics student-athletes have the access to information packets on pursuing and participation in collegiate aquatic sports, information and advice on colleges that past Denton ISD Aquatics student-athletes attended, and inspiration in community development. 3. Reunite and Continue to Strengthen Aquatic Community:

     Friendships amongst teammates last a lifetime. Denton ISD Aquatics Alumni Association will continue to strengthen these bonds and continue to strengthen the Denton aquatic community by arranging opportunities for reunions and social gatherings with alumni. 4. Show Positive Impact Aquatic Sports has on Community:

     Denton ISD Aquatics Alumni Association displays the positive impact aquatic sports play on the not only the Denton community, but on all communities. Displaying proudly the accomplishments of the Denton ISD Aquatics athletes, Denton ISD Aquatics Alumni Association gives recognition to the leadership grown and nurtured through aquatic sports, and the impact those leaders have on their respected communities.
