Employee Highlight

Please congratulate our Employees of the month for June

Competitive Swimming Coach:  SCSC Competitive Coaching Staff
The Competitive program Employee of the month is the entire SCSC Competitive team coaching staff.  Our coaches really came through in the month of June.  It all started out with a last minute schedule change, starting our summer schedule one week earlier than expected.  Many of our coaches had to change their schedules to be at practice. It was great to see  coaches cover their fellow team members who had time conflicts during this week.  Despite all the craziness, we made a smooth transition into our summer season.
This brings me to the International meet.  All SCSC competitive coaches worked along with our legendary parent volunteers to make this meet a success.  The International meet seems be bring out the pride in our staff and our membership each and every year.  Because it has been a month of a true team effort, the entire SCSC coaching staff:  John Bitter, Dave Meck, Erik Colwill, Lubov Pohilenco, Steve Hurko, Rob Scanlan. Carlene Takaki, Abby Kennedy, Brett Fraizer, & Russell Payne are this months Employee's of the month.  Lets keep it rolling through the summer.

  Pre-Competitive:  Alyssa Aguilar

Alyssa started as a swim instructor for the Learn to Swim program,  trained and developed as a Pre-competitive coach and has just began coaching Jr Bell groups for the Developmental Program.  She has been an excellent part of our coaching staff, stepping up to take more challenges and shifts to make her a better coach.  Her willingness to be available to substitute and her passion and enthusiasm towards her swimmers are just some of her great qualities.  She is reliable and almost never misses a swim practice. We are very fortunate to have her in our Developmental Program.

Learn to Swim Coach:   Robert Wiedlin
Our Employee of the month is Robert Wiedlin.  He is a dedicated and committed member of this team willing to take on any challenge to move the group forward.  In the last few weeks he has stepped up to do long term subbing for injured and ill employees. During our Spring session Robert instituted a tracking system to help move our youngest swimmers through the program more efficiently.  Robert takes initiative in tasks that are in front of him and he motivates his instructors to be the best they can be.  In short Robert does a great job in whatever capacity Learn to Swim and SCSC need him to.
