2018 Swim Clinics

Swim Clinic Information

Swim Clinics are a great way for your swimmer to get a bit more technique training in a small group setting. Clinics will be conducted by Coach Lexi beginning the first full week of morning practice.

The cost is $5 per swimmer per clinic.  Each clinic is for one day only. Your swimmer will need to bring cash to the clinic to give to the coach.  If you sign your swimmer up for a clinic, please do not skip it unless you have an emergency since spots are limited.  Please note that there are NO rain dates for clinics (you will not be required to pay the $5 fee if the clinic is canceled).

Please note the detailed description for each clinic and make your decisions accordingly.  The schedule for clinics is at the very end of this document.  More clinics will be added during the season based on need.

In most cases, it is more appropriate for your swimmer to take swim lessons (as opposed to the clinic) if they can’t swim a length of the pool with a proper stroke (freestyle).  The book to sign up for swim lessons will be available in the pool office.

Online sign-up for the clinics will be available on the Cobras website under the “Job Sign-Up” tab in May.  An email will be sent when the registration is activated.  Simply locate the clinics for which you would like to sign-up and put the swimmer’s name in parenthesis on the job sign up behind your name.  Parents do not have to work at the clinics.  We use our web-site Job Sign-Up feature for the purposes of Clinic Registration.

Each clinic will be limited to 12 swimmers, and a minimum of 5 swimmers to run the clinic.  We do realize that the clinics are very popular and understand that it is frustrating if you do not get your swimmer in but we are limited in the numbers we can take to make it beneficial.
