2017 Tennis Team Coaching Staff
Jeff Rhubottom (picture coming soon)
Jeff is grateful for the opportunity to be a part of the Gregory Seahurst Tennis Team this season as the head coach. He began playing tennis for the Gators at the age of 12 where he met some of his best friends and broke out of his shell as a shy kid on the courts. His goal this season is to teach children the importance of sportsmanship; how players can walk off the court and one can’t tell whether they won or lost, when they carry themselves with pride either way.
Paul is continuing the work of his older sister, Sydney, as tennis coach. Having been a member of the swim team and tennis team since he was 6 Paul has inserted himself in the community to help it grow. He's excited to leave a mark on the team and fill the big shoes of past coaches. As an upcoming senior at Bishop Blanchet High School and a caption of two sports he hopes to use the skills he already has and will gain from coaching to continue to lead with a chance to have some fun along the way.
Luke began playing tennis at Gregory Seahurst at the age of 8 years old and soon fell in love with the sport and the team. Luke was not the most athletic kid and sports intimidated him but the tennis team made him feel welcome. He began to learn more and more and excelled at the sport. He is now a 3-year varsity tennis player and team captain at Kennedy Catholic High School. He is excited to give ack to the team and return the favor his coaches gave him as a young kid. He wants to show the tennis players at Gregory what an amazing sport tennis is and how fun it can be.
