Squirts: (8 and under)
New and novice
swimmers just learning the basics in competitive swimming.
Pre-requisites, kids must know how to swim comfortably on their
stomachs and on their backs 25 yards of the pool. (This is not a
learn to swim class).
Rookies: (9-14) Newly developed swimmers
that have a basic knowledge of butterfly, backstroke, breaststroke,
and freestyle.
"lil" Mac’s: (coach discretion) Medium to strong swimmers
able to swim harder yardage with a good understanding of pacing,
heart rate, drills, and practical training
skills. Knowledge of strong
workouts, starts and turns. They are working on
the emphasis on strong competition
success.
Coy’s
Koi: (11 to 14
with 3 Q+ times or 10 and under with 4Q+
times) (Kino
Only) Strongest age group swimmer
with elite workouts and strong
competitions.
Aquatic Fitness: (Fremont
only)
This group is for swimmers that do not want to compete as a year
round swimmer. All swimmers in this group will learn all four
strokes, starts, turns. This is a good form of exercise for any
athlete who just likes to swim. This is also a great class
for P.E credit.
Learn
to swim: (Kino only)This program is designed
for swimmers that are just learning the basics of swimming. They
will learn how to be safe in the water. These swimmers will
also learn how to swim on their stomach and on their back in a
safe and fun manner.
