Preliminary Short Course Event Schedule- 2009-2010

August, 2009- Welcome to the Short Course Season
We like to start the season off by easing into the full schedule. This allows for swimmers to adapt slowly to the new school and swim practice schedule. Please note the first 2 weeks are not full practice weeks.

1st week of practice in Sienna-No practices on Thur or Fri

1st week of practice at Nat- No practices Tu, Th or Fri @ Nat

August 24 All Groups return to practice
Nat’l, State in Sienna– 3 days Mon, Tues, and Wed
State @ Nat – 3 days Mon, Wed- Tues @ Sienna
All ND, Flying Fish, JO, Dolphin –2 days Mon & Wed
All Nemo – 1 day only- Monday
Comp Prep@Sienna- Tuesday only-@ Nat Mon only

August 31 All Groups –
Nat’l, State@Sienna 4 days- Mon-Thur – No Fri
State @ Nat 4 days- Mon, Wed, Fri and 1 day sienna

***Sectionals and TAGS- Dates are TBA(Sectionals will be determined at USAS convention/ TAGS will be determined at TSA Convention. We will post in Oct 09

***We would like to take a travel trip in late January or early Feb. We will be getting more info out to all as soon as we know more information.

***This new schedule allows for invitational swim meets/dual meets to happen in the gulf area. We will decide what is in the best interest of our swimmers and let all know when and where these meets will occur.
