Mississippi Swimming, Inc. is committed to full compliance of the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act ("COPPA") as enacted by Congress in 1998 and as amended in 2012.  COPPA requires the Federal Trade Commission to issue and enforce regulations concerning children’s online privacy.

Mississippi Swimming, Inc. respects and protects the privacy of our users.  We encourage parents and kids to use and enjoy our website.  We urge parents to discuss with their children the importance of protecting the confidentiality of personally identifiable information.

Mississippi Swimming, Inc. does not gather or store personal information of children on its website.

There is no collection or posting of personal information on this website such as full name, home address, email address or telephone number that would allow someone to contact a child.

Mississippi Swimming, Inc. does not sell, distribute, trade or otherwise transfer personally identifiable information obtained from a user to any third party, either within our own organization or outside it, unless the user has provided his or her consent.  We never share children’s personal information with third parties.

Information acquired during registration for USA Swimming and other sanctioned activities is the property of USA Swimming and its member clubs.  USA Swimming strictly limits the use of member’s personal information to that information necessary for the conduct of business within USA Swimming.

Access to private information on this website is controlled and limited to the MSI website chair and board members with administrative access to this website.

Pictures from public events and USA Swimming activities are published by Mississippi Swimming, Inc. on this website and through social media outlets.  Published photos are for editorial use, meant for illustrative purposes and/or to provide context for USA Swimming activities, press releases and results.

Pictures provided for use to Mississippi Swimming, Inc. from any of its LSC clubs and members, as well as from any USA Swimming club or member, are obtained with the understanding the provider has obtained proper consent and parental approval for the publication of any shared photos.

Parents may request that any posted photograph or any other information that they feel is too identifiable be removed from this website and MSI social media outlets.
