Scrips, Kroger&more

As you read through the fundraising options below, please allow us to point out that when using Shop with Scrip program and Kroger’s Reloadable Gift Cards, you will receive a percentage (%) of what you spend and that will go toward your fundraising obligation.  For example, if you purchase a $100 Home Depot card through GLSC and it contributes 3% to NOVA, $3.00 will go toward your fundraising obligation.  Kroger is always a 5% contribution to NOVA. You may also be interested in getting involved in our Virginia Diner Peanuts and more sale in the Fall. NOVA receives up to 50% of the proceeds.

Thank you for supporting NOVA and being an intregal part of this wonderful team.

KROGER CARDS

NOVA will start selling Kroger Cards in the Virginia Swim Shop.  The serial number on the card you purchase is linked to NOVA’s account at Kroger.

(Note that other Kroger gift cards will not be linked to NOVA.) You have to purchase it from a NOVA representative to be sure the card is linked to the NOVA account.
The card will cost $5.00 and can be "reloaded" up to $500.00 at a time.  NOVA will track your donations by the serial number on your card and your name which will be recorded at the time of purchase.

To support NOVA on an ongoing basis, add money to your card (“reload” your card) and then use your card each
time you buy groceries at Kroger. Use it at any Kroger or Kroger Affiliate across the US, including purchases at
Kroger gas stations.  You can add money to your card (“reload” your card) at the Customer Service desk at Kroger
or you can ask a cashier to “reload” your card (before you check out with groceries).

When “reloading” your card, you can pay with cash, use a debit card or use a credit card.  When paying for
groceries with your card, you will still use your Kroger Plus card to get Kroger specials. Every four weeks,
Kroger reviews NOVA’s account and sends either a statement and or check for 5% of the money that has
been “reloaded” onto the cards.

Summary: Each week (or once a month), when you go to any Kroger, stop at the service desk and “ reload” your
card with the amount you usually spend in a week (or month) then simply use your card to pay for your groceries.
Have the satisfaction that you are helping NOVA and yourself every time you “reload” your card with money.

Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions.

Sincerely,
