TAP Program

The HYCAT Swimming Program’s TAP Program (Travel Assistance Program) was developed to assist members of the HYCAT "Competitive" Program to help defray some of the costs associated with attending swim meets that have been designated as "HYCAT TAP Meets."  The HYCAT swimmers, and their parents,  attend a mandatory meeting held at the start of the HYCAT Fall Swimming Season in late August where the HYCAT TAP Program is explained and handouts are distributed.

HYCAT swimmers that wish to participate in the HYCAT TAP Program will be required to work at various HYCAT functions/activities to earn "credits/points" towards the meets that they wish to attend.  Some of the activities are the HYCAT Stroke Clinic/Camp; HYCAT Novice Meets; working @ the HYCAT sponsored meets throughout the year; and various other jobs.

If interested, please read the information provided in the three (3) handouts listed below.
