SEASON
The 2009 HYCAT Fall Swimming Season for the "Competitive"
Programs begins with the Annual Swimmer/Parent Team
meetings on Sunday, September 23rd with the first
practice sbeginning Monday, August 24th. PLEASE
check your team assignment for time & location. The 2009
HYCAT Fall Swimming Season for the "Recreational/Developmental"
Programs begins on Tuesday, September 01st. The
Annual HYCAT Fall/Winter break will be observed from Tuesday,
December 22nd thru Sunday, January 03rd, 2010 when there will
be NO "official" team practices scheduled. Greg Olson
will conduct "holiday" practices for members of the HYCAT Gold;
Comp 1; Comp 2; Comp 3 & Comp 4 Teams ... refer to schedule to
be published at a later date.

2010 HYCAT WINTER SWIM SEASON
The 2010 HYCAT Winter Swimming Season will begin for both
the HYCAT "Competitive" and HYCAT "Recreational/Developmental"
Programs on Monday, January 04th, 2010. The Annual
HYCAT Spring Break will be observed during the Kanawha County
Spring Break period of Sunday, March 21st thru Sunday,
March 28th for the "Competitive" Teams and from Friday,
March 19th thru Sunday, March 28th for the
"Recreational/Developmental" Teams. Also, HYCAT will observe
a Kanawha County Easter weekend break from Friday, April 02nd
thru Sunday, April 04th.

This section will be up-dated in late August prior to the
start of the 2010 HYCAT Fall Swimming Season. The HYCAT
"Competitive" Programs will have their Annual Swimmer & Parent
Team meetings on Sunday, August 22nd as listed
below. The meetings are REQUIRED for each swimmer and
one of the swimmer’s parents in order to be a member of the
"Competitive" Program. The meetings will be held @ the UC
swimming pool as follows:

Practices will start on Monday, August 23rd with the
Pre-Comp/Comp 1/Comp 2 [12-UN] Team swimmers from 04:30PM-05:30PM
and Comp 2 [13-OV]/Comp 3/Comp 4 from 05:35PM-06:55PM. There will
be NO Dryland Programs conducted during the 1st week of
practices.
The HYCAT "Recreational/Developmental" Programs will
start on Wednesday, September 01st with their practices:
Future Stars Team from 03:55PM-04:25PM; Bronze Team from
04:30PM-05:10PM; Silver Team from 05:15PM-06:05PM and Gold Team
from 06:10PM-07:30PM. There will be a Parents Meeting
for the "Recreational/Developmental" Teams on Sunday, August
29th @ 07:30PM; Rigglemann Hall; 3rd floor lecture hall;
room #346; on UC campus.
