The Plantation Swim Team Booster organization is an
active group of concerned parents dedicated to promoting positive
activities and team spirit in the sport of swimming, both in
training and competition. The Booster Club is a registered
non-profit organization whose main purposes are to promote and
support the activities of the Plantation Swim Team, it’s
Coaches, and the team athletes, and to encourage volunteerism among
swim parents and educate new and existing families. Our primary
fundraising is driven by locally hosted Swim Meets.
Our fundraising efforts allow us to contribute to the morale of the
swim team by providing many activities, including but not limited
to Annual Awards Banquet, Team trips/dinners, subsidizing some
costs of Team supplies/equipment, and Annual scholarship for
selected graduating seniors. Other activities supported by our
fundraising efforts include Continuing Education for our Coaches,
various levels of subsidization towards swimmer incurred travel
expenses, and establishing Piranha spirit by providing t-shirts and
other team items.
