SwimNOVA is a unique, progressive, learn-to-swim program. In each level of this program, core body position is stressed. Movements are coordinated so that swimmers learn to swim properly and efficiently.

SwimNOVA is an effective and proven method of teaching swimming fundamentals.

Registration Information for SwimNOVA Lessons

- Registration will be taken Monday - Thursday during office hours listed above.

- In order to best serve you, our customers, it is recomended that registration be handled in person at the NOVA Aquatic Center. If you can not make it to the pool, registrations over the phone are accepted. Please call 754-3401 and ask for Lori Hopewell. If there is not an answer, please leave a message (ext. 99) and Lori will return your call in a timely manner.

- SwimNOVA offers four different levels within the program:

     - Pre-Beginner

     - Beginner

     - Advanced Beginner

     - Pre-Team

- When signing-up your child for the first time, please take a few minutes and look at the skills checklists for each level of lessons. We rely on you, the parent, to appropriately sign your child up for their first class. Upon registration, Lori can also help determine the appropriate level to start your child in.

- Once your child is in the program, only the instructor will determine whether your child is ready to move up to the next level of SwimNOVA lessons from one session to the next.

-The cost for one (1) session (8 classes) is $95.00.  We accept check and credit card payment. Credit Card payment can be processed in person or by phone. NOVA does not accept cash payments.

- Classes are filled on a first come first served basis, and a spot cannot be reserved without payment.

- Refunds will only be given if a cancellation is made 5 days prior to the start of the session or if there are fewer than 4 swimmers signed up for a class.

- There must be at least 4 swimmers registered to run a class.  Instructors are hired based on registration.

- Children 3 years of age and older are accepted into the program. When signing up, it is the parents discretion as to whether your child is ready to participate in the lesson program.

- Credits will be issued only for extended illness (three or more consecutive lessons) with a note from your child’s doctor. Credits will not be issued for conflicts with other activities or vacations .
