July 2009
First of all I would like to congratulate all
the swimmers and parents involved with the State meet. It was an
AWESOME meet in all aspects. Great job !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
As the summer season ended, it is time to start planning to the
Fall and Spring. This summer was a very good time for me to have a
good "feeling" to the team, and what are our needs in order for us
to improve as a team. I am excited to start working again, and to
see our swimmers improving this season !!!!!
At the State meet we competed against the best in the State, and
most of them practice more than we have been doing in the past
couple years. In order to get to their level we have to
practice (at least) the same as the best teams in the State do. And
I am not talking about only one team. Commitment will be key for us
in order to climb up the steps we need.
For the Fall we will split the team with the ages the swimmers will
be in Dec 31st. And for the Spring we will use the their ages at
the State meet (mid March).
May 2009
I
would like to see the whole team going to every single
meet. Participating in meets is what’s more
fun about swimming, and is also a big part of
preparation/practices for the State meet. More info on these
meets will come later.
