Established in 1955 as the
Santa Rosa Neptune Swim Club, Neptune Swimming has one of the
longest and most distinguished histories among teams in Northern
California
. Throughout the years, the
Neptunes
have consistently produced many of the
nation’s top swimmers including Junior and Senior National
finalists, a 2004 US Open Champion, a Senior National Champion and
a 1984 Olympic Gold Medalist.
The club offers an integrated program of coaching and training
groups covering the entire spectrum of swimming experience and
abilities. This program stresses proper technique, teamwork, and
character development, allowing each participant to progress and
achieve to his or her potential as an athlete and as a whole
person.
The team operates at two locations (
Santa Rosa
and Healdsburg) on a year round basis.
The
Santa
Rosa
location is currently
full and the Healdsburg location is open to all levels of
swimmers from age 5 through college age. Competition is offered on a year round basis. For more
