Swim Programs

Extreme Aquatic Team takes pride that our swimmers strive to improve their strokes and swimming capabilities. While the programs that we offer are geared towards competitive swimming, we do have swimmers that elect not to compete in meets and primarily swim for health/exercise reasons. It is the goal of all EAT programs to challenge your swimmer to be the best swimmer he/she can be.

Swimmers progress from program to program based on consensus from both coach and parent. Please talk with you child’s coach if you feel your child is ready for the next swim level.

Learn to Swim Competitively (L2SC)
The Learn to Swim Competitively program is geared for younger children that are still learning the strokes. Participants should be able to swim 25 yards with no assistance to enroll in this program. The goal of this program is for the swimmer to learn each stroke to the point where they can proceed to the next EAT program. Participants in this program typically swim one hour twice a week.

Age Group (AG)

Masters
The Masters program is geared toward adults that still enjoy swimming competitively or just desire to stay in shape. Practices will range from beginning to advanced. Practice sessons are held mornings Monday thru Friday for approximately 1:15 minutes. If you can’t swim the entire time, you may swim only 30 minutes. Participants will learn stretching techniques, proper warm-ups, and receive stroke correction. Current plans are to participate in a couple of meets throughout the year. Tri-athletes are welcome. Training will be year round and based upon pool availability.
