About the FINS

The Southern New Hampshire FINS swim team provides a program in competitive swimming for children and young adults that fosters desire, dedication, and determination; helps develop a healthy attitude about competition; and contributes to a rewarding life experience.
 
The FINS is a winter swim team whose season lasts from late September through March. The head coach is Chris French, who is supported by a staff of certified assistant coaches. The FINS participate in both the NH Swim Association league and the USA Swimming league.
Practices are held at the Boys & Girls Club in Nashua before school weekdays and on Saturday and Sunday mornings. The team also offers evening practices two nights a week at the UMass - Lowell pool.

Optional post season training program in the spring and summer is available to FINS and non-FINS swimmers.
