   If you are receiving this email it is to thank you for entering the Northern Area Chena Lakes Triathlon. 
 
   Here are a few reminders for the race on Sunday. Please arrive around 8:30 am to do your check in. This does take some time so please be patient with us. If you still need to sign a waiver please go to our web site <blockedhttp://www.northrnarea.org/> www.northrnarea.org  download it and fill it out before you get there.  Everyone will need their ID to check in. If you have a USAT year round membership please bring your card. Once you receive your number you can get your transition area ready.
 
   The weather has been wonderful and the lake should be relativley not cold (warm is a subjective term) :) Downside is there has been reports of swimmers itch. If you are concerned please have a towel in your transition area to rub down with. Most problems will occur after the race when you will want to cool down in the lake and just sit or hang around  in the water. You have been warned!
 
   Around 4 o’clock this afternoon the smoke  blew in fairly thick. We hope the wind that blew it in will change course before the race so we have clear skies and good air. At this point I don’t know what will happen. If you have asthma or any breathing problems then please use your best judgement which may be to sit the race out if we have poor air quality.
 
   As always we could use volunteers on the bike course especially this year as traffic has been heavier with the good weather.
