Groups

Columbia-Willamette Swimming offers training for swimmers of all ages and ability levels. Daily training plans consider the ratio of technique instruction to training and sensitive periods of development while maintaining long-term vision.  It is our goal to offer systematically progressive training for each of our swimmers.

  • Able to swim 50 yards nonstop
  • Able to side breathe
  • Interest in learning & improving

silver

  • Four 60-min practices/week
  • Emphasis is stroke technique and training skills
  • 9-11 years-old
  • Proficient in 3 competitive strokes
  • Basic knowledge of competitive swimming rules
  • Able to swim 300 yards nonstop with flip turns
  • Interest in learning & improving quickly
  • m/t/th/f 4:15-5:15 pm
  • $75/month
  • Cost does not include Allstar Fitness membership

gold

  • Five 90-min practices/week
  • Emphasis is training skills, conditioning, stroke technique, and race preparation
  • Meet above criteria plus:1 or more "b" times
  • 10 x 50 swim @ 1:00
  • 10 x 50 kick @ 1:20
  • Compete in 5 meets per year
  • Keen interest in learning & goal-setting
  • Age 12 or older
  • Excellent attendance and quality workout efforts
  • m-f 3:45-5:15 pm
  • Gold swimmers are invited to swim with coaching staff m/t/th/f 6:00-7:00 am
  • $90/month
  • Cost does not include Allstar Fitness membership

fast track

  • Three 60-min practices/week
  • One 90-min practice/week
  • Emphasis is stroke technique and training skills
  • 11-15 years-old
  • Proficient in 2 competitive strokes
  • Able to swim 300 yards nonstop
  • Interest in learning and improving quickly
  • m/t/th 4:15-5:15 pm
  • f 3:45-5:15 pm
  • $75/month
  • Cost does not include Allstar Fitness membership

high school prep

(nov-feb only)

  • Three 90-min practices/week
  • Emphasis is training skills, conditioning, stroke technique, and race preparation
  • Participation in high school swimming
  • Able to swim 500 yards nonstop
  • Keen interest in learning & improving
  • Choose 3 practices from gold group schedule
  • $60/month
  • Cost does not include Allstar Fitness membership
