Masters & Tri-Group

 

  “If you like to swim but don’t like to think about your workouts in advance, the Masters program would be great for you.   All you need to do is participate- weather with the group during the scheduled work out time, or on your own.  The Tornadoes Masters program is the perfect solution!   You can adapt it in order to fit your schedule, and level of fitness.”

I grew up paddling around in the back yard pool and then later joined the high school swim team for a couple seasons.    Just this last spring (2008) I re-discovered swimming as a great workout option!   I finally faced the fact that I was not a runner, or a weight lifter; the motivation to get to a normal gym was sporadic at best.  Swimming with the Tornadoes has kept me motivated to come to the practices; I can easily attend after the work day, there are new people to meet every day, I’ve gotten faster and better breath control –last weekend I went hiking with my Dad and barely broke a sweat while he was panting along- and! I’ve gotten back into some dresses I haven’t been able to pull off for a couple years… so as far as I’m concerned the Tornadoes are awesome!
