With Coach Jarman's help we were
able to setup a 30-day free trial of the online version of Meet
Manager. This product is part of Hy-Tek’s partnership with
Direct Athletics. Regardless, the trial version only allowed the
entry of 10 swimmers. To test the application we have modified the
Last Chance meet to show how the entry can be accomplished. Once
the meet entry period is closed out, set by the team coach or
administrator, the entry file is ported to Meet Manager in the
proprietary format, thus allowing for direct transfer into MM
without any hand entry, further reducing the likelihood of any
transcription errors.
If you are
interested in testing the application click on the link below and
logon as Aliyah Kath. Use the user name of akath;
password is swim4fun. Once activated, the first time you
log on to your child's events, you must change the password. Once
you are LOGGED ON in you will need to select the drop down dialog box to show all meets.
The last chance meet will then be displayed. After selecting the
events, you can have the data emailed (please do not select this,
Deana does not want a bunch of extra EMAILS). The parents can
change the events (radio buttons) until the predetermined deadline
is reached. After the deadline is reached, Coach Jarman can export
the entries to Hy-Tek’s ZIP format and import them into
directly in Meet Manager.
