The South
Shore YMCA Strypers Swimming offers training and practice
groups for swimmers of all ages and ability levels. It is the goal
of South Shore YMCA Strypers Swimming to offer age
specific training for all of our athletes geared towards
challenging each individual and developing each individual to the
best of THEIR abilities.

2009-2010 Short Course
Strypers try-outs will be held Monday August 31 through Wednesday
September 2 from 5:30-7:30 at both Quincy and Millpond. Just drop
in with your suit and goggles at either pool deck and see one of
the coaches on deck for an evaluation.
Our training programs are designed to offer every swimmer the
leadership and knowledge to be successful in the sport of
swimming.
Swimmers of all
abilities and levels will work through the programs which will
consistently focus on:
- Consistently improving
their balance, stroke technique, conditioning and skills.
- Being a contributing member of the South Shore YMCA Stryper
team.
- Challenging themselves, their peers and coaches to succeed.
- Maintaining swimming as a life-sport, into college and
beyond.
