Team Description: Made up of the team’s elite swimmers who demonstrate the willingness and consistency for demanding dryland, weight, and water training. Swimmers must have strong technique, demonstrate goal-oriented behavior, and show emotional and physical maturity to participate in all aspects of the training needed to compete at the Florida Swimming, Sectional, and National levels of competition. Group focuses on reaching the highest level of USA Club swimming. Practice & meet attendance is required.
Entry to GOLD based on Head Coach discretion.

Monday – Friday @ 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM; Saturday @ 6:00 AM – 8:00 AM
Team Description: Designed for high school aged swimmers (ages 13 & over) in need of the physical and stroke development necessary for the Gold Level Group. Stroke technique enhancement and cardiovascular conditioning development are highly emphasized. Swimmers are highly encouraged to attend all afternoon practices & Saturday mornings. Meet attendance is strongly encouraged.
Entry into SENIOR is based on Head Coach recommendation and ability level.

Practice Times: Monday – Friday @ 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM; Saturday @ 6:00 AM – 8:00 AM
Team Description: Designed for middle school aged swimmers (approximately 11 – 14 years) to introduce young swimmers to a solid base of training for competitive swimming. Instruction emphasizes stroke technique, training skills and learning how to compete. Regular exposure to training elements include dryland training, interval training, clock use, stroke technique, drills, kicking, starts, turns, and aerobic training. Regular attendance is highly encouraged. Regular meet attendance is highly encouraged.
Entry into the SILVER is based on recommendation of Silver & Bronze II Group coaches.

Tuesday/Thursday @ 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM; Saturday @ 6:00 – 8:00 AM
BRONZE II GROUP
Team Description: Designed for younger swimmers (approximately ages 9 – 11 years) to emphasize learning and developing the four competitive strokes through kicking, drilling, and demonstrations of the strokes, starts, and turns. Introducing aerobic endurance development begins during this level. Regular practice attendance is highly recommended. Meet attendance is encouraged.
Entry into BRONZE II is based on recommendation of Bronze I & Bronze II coaching staff. Swimmers must be able to swim all four strokes and meet requirements by the coaching staff.

BRONZE I GROUP
Team Description: Designed for young swimmers (approximately ages 6 – 10 years) as an introduction to competitive swimming, emphasizing learning and developing the four competitive strokes through kicking, drilling, and demonstrations of the strokes, starts, and turns. The goal of this group is to provide each swimmer with a solid swimming foundation while building confidence and having FUN! Regular practice attendance recommended. Meet attendance encouraged.
Entry in to the BRONZE I requires an invitation following tryouts with a LAS Staff member.

HIGH SCHOOL GROUP
Team Description: Designed as a seasonal group to prepare swimmers of all abilities for high school swim season. ALL SWIMMERS are WELCOME!
