Family Volunteer
Obligation
Swimming is a volunteer sport - it literally can
not happen without parental support. Each SRN family is required to
volunteer a minimum of 24 hours per year. These hours are accrued
from the first day of membership at the rate of 2 hours per month.
You can also earn credit by bringing in corporate sponsors.

~ ANY hours
signed up for through the "Job Sign-up" on the Neptune
web-site will be automatically credited towards
your volunteer obligation.
~If you performed
additional hours or just volunteered when you
came on deck and wish to get credit for these hours please
e-mail
~When e-mailing
Abby please use the following format...
Event / Date / Job Performed /Number of hours
worked
This would be a great
time to send in ANY outstanding hours that you have not taken
credit for...such as timing at meets, jobs done
behind the scenes for the team, Stroke and Turn Workshop and
continued training, etc. Anything that is
team related you get credit for! Remember that the volunteer hours
tracked are for the current swim year only...that is September
2007 through August. 20th, 2008.
The coaches and Board of Directors
very much appreciate your
continued volunteer support but once you have reached your
minimum family obligation
and your account is down to "0" or is in
the negative there is no need to send continued updates
to Abby for tracking purposes.
