Swim Groups

The Sanger Seals offers training and practice groups for swimmers between the ages of 4 to 18. It is the goal of the Sanger Seals to offer training for all of our athletes geared towards challenging each individual and developing each individual to the best of THEIR abilities.

6 and unders

This is our entry level group. Swimmers MUST be able to swim one length of the pool (25 yards).
Novice Group Coach: Kristin Eisner
Workout Days/Times: 5:30-6:15  Monday thru Thursday

7 and 8 Group

 Athletes in this group focus mainly on learning four legal competitive strokes, having fun, and perfecting start and turn technique.
Beginner’s Group Coach: Rebecca Ogawa
Workout Days/Times: 5:30-6:15   Monday thru Thursday 

9 and 10 Group 

This Group continues to perfect the four swim strokes, starts and turns.

Intermediate’s Group Coach: Rebecca Ogawa
Workout Days/Times: 5:30-6:30   Monday thru Thursday 

Senior Group:

This Group continues to perfect the four swim strokes, starts and turns and  includes dryland and  interval training and race strategy. 

Advanced Group Coach:   Heather Harper & Matthew Greenwood
Workout Days/Times: 5:30-7:00   Monday thru Thursday 

   Swimmers in this group must wear workout clothing, including good running shoes to practice.  We will include dryland training at the beginning of all workouts (unless weather forbids it!)
