Swim Groups

CLASS Aquatics offers training and practice groups for swimmers of all ages and ability levels. It is the goal of CLASS Aquatics to offer age specific training for all of our athletes geared towards challenging each individual and developing each individual to the best of THEIR abilities.

Novice Group

Novice level. The emphasis is on the basics of all four competitive strokes, while having fun! Swimmers can practice any 3 days each week

Age-Group I

Age Group level. Continued emphasis on stroke basics plus an increased focus on more advanced skills including starts, turns, and drills. Use of a pace clock is introduced.

Age-Group II 

Junior level. Practices continue to stress stroke development while conditioning work is increased. Introduction of advanced interval training, dry land exercises and race strategy.

Junior-Senior Group

Increased intensity and commitment. There is more emphasis on competition and goal setting. Dry land training is expanded and meet participation is required.

Senior Group

Maximum commitment. Highly advanced training with the goal of developing national level swimmers. Morning and Saturday practices are expected.

High School Group

The high school group allows swimmers to maintain and develop their swimming skills while participating in another sport at school.
