Joining CBA is as easy as 1 - 2 - 3
You can join CBA anytime during the year. Stop by and meet the coaches. They will professionally evaluate your swimmer and determine in which training group they should be placed. Once you know the group and are ready to register with the CBA Team, please follow the instructions below for both online registration and paper registration.
CBA Swimming 2013 Long Course Registration
Our online registration system will give you access to your own private account that will enable you to easily sign your swimmer up for swim meets, see your swimmer’s swim times history, maintain your contact information, see all or your billing and account details and more.

All swimmers new to USA Swimming must present a Birth Certificate or Passport.

All Transfer Swimmers must complete and submit a Transfer Form. A Transfer Swimmer is any swimmer who has ever been registered with another USA Swimming registered team regardless of meet participation.

Please Note: Swimmers are not officially registered until Auto-Pay/Payment and registration documentation is received. You will have to pay both CBA and USA Swimming registration fees as well as one month’s dues in order to register.

Print and fill out the CBA Registration Form

Print and fill out the 2013 USA Swimming Athlete Registration ($69 good until December 31, 2013). Make check payable to CBA. Turn in form to your coach with payment and birth certificate attached.
If you are transferring from another team, print out and turn in the Transfer Form. There is no cost to transfer clubs with ST LSC ($15 for clubs outside ST).

Come to the pool, Monday through Friday from 6:00 to 7:30 pm, with suit, towel, cap, goggles, and meet our coaches and swimmers.

Age Group Ioffers a program on overall technique and stroke improvement. This group introduces, challenging workouts to the improvement of all four competitive strokes, interval training, starts, turns, finishes, and racing strategies. Swimmers are encouraged to attend practice regularly and participate in CBA-hosted swim meets. Competitive goals include longer swims and sets, achieving USA Swimming’s ‘B/BB’ times,
Equipment: Fins, Paddles, Kick board, Pull Buoy and Paddles
Practice Sessions/Week: 3 – 4 This is one of our largest and more important groups. Due to size we may platoon (Coaches discression) this group into: a) Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and b) Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. Additional workouts will be available on Sundays depending upon Natatorium and meet scheduling.

Fitness/Competition

The Fitness/Competition Group offers a program for experienced competitive swimmers who have not fully committed to the regime of daily training or have additional commitments to other activities, or do not yet have “BB” times. Our goals for this group is to encourage and teach a lifelong love and appreciation of our sport as we introduce rigorous training, preparing them for competition and fitness. Entry into Fitness/Competition Group is based on “B” times, attendance, or by Coaches invitation.

Designed primarily for our highest level 11-14 yr olds in the program. This program is tailored for swimmers who have dedicated themselves to the sport of swimming, and are capable of consistently performing difficult training sets in practice, working towards becoming TAGS finalists. There could be some exceptions based on Coach’s discretion. Progression from Age Group II could lead to Youth Elite Group, or National Group. Entry into Age Group II is based on “BB” time, attendance, and/or by Coaches invitation.

Youth Elite

Specifically designed for the 12 and older competitive swimmer who is committed to training at a level to qualify for TAGS (if 12 or 14); or Sectionals (if 15 or older). Path of progression could lead to National group. Group goals include consistent practice attendance, meet attendance, and maintaining USA swimming’s “A” or “AA” times or better. Entry into Youth Elite Group is based on “A” and “AA” time, attendance, or by coaches invitation.

This is the highest level competitive group that CBA offers. Recommended for swimmers 15 and over who wish to participate in Sectional, National level competitions. This high intensity/ high reward group trains 8 – 9 pool practices a week. To be a member of this group is a serious commitment and is by coaches invitation only.
Equipment:Mesh Bag, Drag Suit (optional), Paddles, Pull Buoy, Kickboard, Snorkel, Pulling Bucket, Standard Fins, Water Bottle, Dry-land Gear, Other (Coaches Recommendation)
