CCAT TEAM POLICIES & EMERGENCY RELEASE WAIVER:
*Coaches determine which workout group the swimmers are assigned to; this decision involves the attendance, effort, behavior, and skill level of the athlete (NOT BY AGE, SOCIAL GROUP OR PARENTS DESIRES'). Athletes are evaluated weekly by the coaches. Swimmers may be moved to different practice lanes each day, dependent on their performance and the number of swimmers in workout.
*Parents will not be permitted to coach to coach their child during practices or competition. The parents role is to support and encourage their child.
*Swimmers are expected to arrive to practice and competition at the assigned time prepared to swim (swimsuits, goggles, caps, towels, etc), similar to school. Arriving late causes disruption in the program, impacting the other athletes and the coaches curriculum. Coaches may not be able always accomodate a swimmer arriving late at practice, and they may be sent home. If an athlete must leave practice early, the parent or athlete needs to notify their coach at the beginning of practice.
*Behavior standards: Parents and swimmers will respect each other and behave in an acceptable manner at all times (in the pool, on the deck, and in the locker rooms, at competitions, etc.). No profanity or abusive language is permitted. Any problems, disagreements or confrontations are to brought to the Head Coach at the pool immediately for resolution. No bullying or harassment will be tolerated.
*Monthly practice fees are due the first of each month. Swim meet entry fees are due by the last day of the meet.
