From the team's initiation, NBA has relied upon the generosity of our swimming community to support our swimmers by volunteering their time and talent, and making financial donations to the team. We are grateful for this spirit of giving and generosity.
Ways of Giving to NBA
Your gifts are crucial to the ongoing financial health of the team and assure NBA will continue to celebrate our youth and masters programs, now and in the future. There are two primary ways of giving to NBA:
NBA’s goal is to keep the annual fees at competitive market rates and within the reach of all families. By bridging the gap with an annual fund, everyone benefits. Your annual fund donation is tax deductible while dues are not. We encourage families to make the Annual Fund their first giving priority each year.
Swim Angel Fund
On our Senior team, the highest level of training and competition on NBA, exposure to greater opportunities through regional and national competition is necessary to completing the cycle we teach: train, race, reward. The “bigger” the race the “greater” the reward in both tangible and intangible terms. An uncomfortable fact is that on occasion some of our swimmers miss these opportunities because their family cannot afford the expense. Swimmers race at 3-4 travel meets per year whether they are on the regional or national level. Therefore it is incumbent upon those of us who can help to put resources and effort towards their travel expenses. For every travel meet this year, either regional or national, we expect to have 4-6 swimmers who need either partial or full support to be able to compete. Your donation of any amount will help them get there.
Making a Donation
To make a donation to NBA's Annual Fund or Swim Angel Fund, you may pay by credit card via PayPay or mail a check made out to "North Bay Aquatics" to the following address. (Please note: If you are making a sizeable and/or corporate contribution, we would appreciate your sending a check. NBA is charged a 3% fee for processing PayPal transactions. Thanks so much.)

Options for supporting NBA include making monthly payments or giving quarterly or annual gifts. Stock transfers are also available. For more information on these options, please contact one of our committee members listed below.
Each year NBA holds events like the annual Swim-a-thon to supplement annual giving. We solicit sponsors and auction donors for these festive events. We invite you to participate as you are able in these fundraising events each year. Highlights include watching Ken get in the pool and try and keep up with the kids.
North Bay Aquatics is an incorporated not-for-profit, 501(c)(3), tax ID No. 56-2334651. Gifts made to the team are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by IRS regulations for charitable donations.
