Cubs & Bronze Groups
This program caters to all swimmers under the age of 10, from state team "veterans," to new recruits fresh from a great summer league experience to kids who have developed beyond local lesson programs and have yet to compete. Everyone has a place to swim.
Silver Group
From the Bronze group, athletes move into this group. The Silver Group covers a similar range of abilities for 9-12 swimmers, or those in middle school. The TAC Silver Group program is for new swimmers just learning competitive skills, regionally ranked 11-12 year old athletes and everyone in between.
Gold Group
From the Silver group, athletes move into this group. Athletes in this group are usually at least 11 years old and have completed the Silver Group move-up skills list. This group is exposed to training for the first time while trying to prepare for the 200 Freestyle and 200 Individual Medley races. Competing at swim meets is required at a rate of about once per month while focusing on finaling at SRS Championship meets.
Junior Group
The Junior Program offers a similar range of training services to high-school-age and older swimmers. This Program offers practices for everyone from athletes looking to stay conditioned and hone their technique for their next high school season to committed swimmers focused on the breaking into the sectional scene.
Senior Group
The Senior group caters only to elite athletes focused on national to international-level swimming and competitive college swimming careers. At this level, attendance, training and competition requirements must be maintained and swimming must be the sport/lifestyle of choice. Generally this will be a select few and will not be able to accommodate large numbers of athletes.
