This program caters to swimmers age 6 to 10. It includes new recruits from summer swim team, as well as kids who have developed beyond local lesson programs and have yet to compete. Entry requirement is the ability to swim 25 yards. In this group, swimmers learn the 4 competitive strokes. Competitive starts and turns are introduced. Cubs are introduced to competition at our intra squad practice meets, as well as local USA Swimming meets. Cubs dues are $45.00 per month and they train twice a week for 45 minutes a session.
This is our entry-level group for ages 9-12 and also the group that the Cubs may progress to. Entry requirements include the ability to swim 25 yards both on the stomach and on the back. This group will work on learning "legal" competitive strokes, starts, and turns. Competition is introduced with our intra squad meets, as well as USA Swimming sanctioned meets held locally. Bronze dues are $50.00 per month and training is 2 days a week for one hour per session.
From the Bronze group, athletes move into this group. Silver athletes swim all 4 strokes legally, can do flip-turns, and can start off the starting blocks. Technique and fitness are a focus in this group. Competitive expectations include local and regional meets. Qualification for summer and winter championships is a goal for this group. Silver dues are $65.00 per month and training is 3 days per week for 90 minutes a session.
From the Silver group, athletes move into this group. Athletes in this group are usually at least 11 years old and have at least "B" times. "Training" becomes the focus, while preparing for the 200 Freestyle and 200 Individual Medley races. Competing at swim meets is required at a rate of about once per month, as well as attending both short course and long course championships. Qualifying for Northwest Age Group Sectionals is a goal of this group. This group has attendance requirements of 90% or better per month. Gold trains 4 days a week for 1.5 to 2 hours per session and dues are $75.00 per month.
The Junior Program is for high school age swimmers (age 13-19). This group offers training for all abilities, from athletes looking improve fitness, to swimmers wanting to hone their technique for high school season, to committed swimmers focused on breaking into the sectional scene. There are no mandatory attendance or competitive requirements for this group--swimmers choose what they would like to get out of swimming. Junior dues are $80.00 per month and training is 4 days per week for 1.5 to 3 hours per session.
The Senior group caters to elite athletes focused on national to international-level swimming and competitive college swimming careers. This squad requires competitive swimming be the sport/lifestyle choice of the athlete. 95% Attendance, 100% training focus, and monthly competition requirements are mandatory. Qualification for senior sectionals, junior nationals, and nationals is a goal of this group. Senior time standards listed below. If invited to attend, parent meeting with athlete will clarify expectations and requirements. Senior monthly dues are $125.00 and training is 8-11 sessions per week for 1-3 hours per session.

Senior II is for committed athletes who are not physically or mentally ready for weight lifting, extensive dryland training, or twice a day training. This would include athletes who are in middle school and not yet physically mature and high school athletes who may not be able to handle the increased workload of the Senior group. Attendance requirement is 95% monthly. Competitive expectations include monthly meet participation, short and long course championships, and Northwest Age Group Sectional qualification and participation. Preparation for the Senior group is the training focus of this group. Senior II swimmers train 5 days per week for 1.5-3 hours per session.
The Masters squad is for adults of all swimming abilities and is focused on improving fitness and technique. All competitive strokes are addressed, but the main focus of training currently is freestyle and triathlon training. Training focus is subject to change depending on the group consensus. Masters train 3 days a week for 1 hour per session and dues are $35.00 per month.
TicTacs are our youngest swimmers, age 4-6. This is an introduction to swim team and will have the lowest swimmer to instructor ratio. We will need 4 swimmers to have this group with a maximum of 6 participants. TicTacs swim 2 days a week for 30 minutes each session and dues are $40.00 per month.
