About The Program
The East
Bay Bat Rays Swim Team (EBAT) is a non-profit organization that
teaches year-round competitive swimming. This clinic is an
excellent opportunity for high school swimmers to learn more about
competitive swimming and prepare them for their upcoming season.
Swimmers in this program will learn the many different aspects of
training for different events. They will also be exposed to many
new drills to enhance stroke technique in all four of the
competitive strokes. Proper start and turns will also be taught and
practiced. Other aspects such as sportsmanship, goal setting,
nutrition, racing strategies, etc. Will be discussed and focused on
throughout this 4 week clinic. Swimmers must be in highschool for
this program.

Fall Sprint Clinic

Bat Rays Swim Team (EBAT) is a non-profit organization that teaches
year-round competitiveswimming. This clinic is an excellent
opportunity for high school and summer league swimmers to learn
more about competitive swimming, with an emphasis on sprinting for
age groupers and training for high schoolers. Swimmers in this
program will learn many new drills and games to enhance stroke
technique in all four of the competitive strokes. Proper
starts and turns will be taught and practiced and sprinting
will be an important skill we focus on throughout the clinic.
Other aspects such as sportsmanship, goal setting, nutrition,
racing strategies, etc. Will be discussed and focused on
throughout these 12 weeks. Swimmers must be at least 9 years
old.

Program
The East Bay Bat
Rays Learn To Swim Program at California State University,
East Bay, offers lessons for children between the ages of
5-15. the program has been developed by EBAT’s Head Coach,
Mark Sand, and is taught by the swim team’s Pre-Senior
and Senior swimmers. The Learn To Swim Program is
goal-driven and technique based. Our coaches teach in
a positive encouraging atmosphere always emphasizing that
swimming is a fun and rewarding experience.
