Introduction
All swimmers and their parents or
guardians are members of the The Napa Valley Swim Team. The
swimmer’s fees for the Association shall be determined by the
Executive Board of Directors, subject to approval of a majority of
the general membership. Fees shall consist of registration /
insurance fees, dues per swimmer, and family commitment fees. The
active participation in meet volunteer activities, bingo, standing
committees, appointed positions, and fund raising activities are
additional commitments expected of our members. Membership information

Schedule). It is your responsibility to find a replacement who
shares the same position Please call or email Bingo4NVST to inform
her of substitutions and/or make-up needed.
Team Apparel
Part of being
a great team is looking like a great team. To make
sure that we are displaying our Napa Valley Swim Team pride,
each and every swimmer on the team is
expected to dress in team apparel for every
meet. To purchase any of the team apparel, incuding team
paraks, please contact Kathy
Minor.

Pre-Olympic Way: No team
apparel requirements
Olympic Way & Jr.
Varsity: No team apparel requierments. Swimmers in this
program may purchase team apparel if they wish to.
Novice and Age Group
I: Required team uniform: team tee shirts, team suit
(black Speedo of any preferred style emblazoned with the team
logo), team caps in competition for those swimmers who wear caps,
knit caps for winter meets. Optional team uniform: TruWest parka,
nylon Speedo team sweats, team bag.
Age Group II: Required team
uniform: team tee shirts, team suit (black Speedo of any
preferred style emblazoned with the team logo). Team caps in
competition for those swimmers who wear caps, knit caps for winter
meets. Optional team uniform: TruWest parka, nylon Speedo team
sweats, team bag.
Advanced Age Group:
Required team uniform: team tee shirts, team suit (black
Speedo of any preferred style emblazoned with the team logo) team
caps in competition for those swimmers who wear caps, knit cap for
winter meets. For swimmers traveling to AA, Far Western, team
travel meets and higher level competitions: Nylon Speedo team
sweats, team bag are considered required uniform. Optional
team uniform: TruWest parka, nylon Speedo team sweats, team
bag.
Varsity and Senior I &
II: Required team uniform: team tee shirts, team suit (black
Speedo of any preferred style emblazoned with the team logo), team
caps in competiion for those swimmers who wear caps, Nylon Speedo
sweats, team bag, bag, knit cap for winter meets. Optional team
uniform: Tru West Parka
Team Equipment
Let’s make sure that we train up to expectations by
getting all the required training equipment. Each swimmer is
required to bring all training equipment to every
practice. To purchase any
equipment, contact NorCal Swim Shop right here in
Napa (2449 2nd Street) and pick up everything you need. Norcal will
also embroider our team logo on the swimmer’s competition
suits or on any of the bags.

swimmers with long hair, center mount snorkel .
Varsity and Senior I & II: Required practice
gear: kick board, pull buoy, Catalyst paddles, fins, gear bag,
goggles, cap for swimmers with long hair, center mount
snorkel.
Napa Valley Swim Team
Board of Directors
The Napa Valley Swim Team’s Board of
Directors consists of the president, vice-president, treasurer and
secretary, and three elected members-at-large, and may include an
Outside Director. The Board Members are elected annually at our
general membership meeting in June. The Head Coach sits on the
board as an ex-officio, non-voting member. The Board of Directors
transacts all necessary business referred to it by the Association,
the President, or the Head Coach. Among its many duties are the
preparation of the annual budget, authorization payment of
expenditures, creation of standing committees and administraion of
all matters pertaining to the employment of the coaching staff. The
Board meets at least once a month on the second tuesday evening at
7PM. Our current board is made up of the following
