Go For The Gold

o for the Gold
is a program designed by USA Swimming to motivate swimmers by identifying goals they can achieve throughout their lifetime.


Swimmers can apply for special swim caps in the "Go for the Gold" program. Please see the document with the times. Awards are presented based upon achieving the minimum time in two different strokes (free, back, breast, fly, or I.M.) for each level. Initial application must be on the highest level achieved by that swimmer (i.e. if swimmers have already surpassed the white level, they apply for the next higher level, a red cap.) Only one cap of each color awarded to each swimmer.
