Programs
With the fate of our primary
workout facility (the WAC) up in the air, 2008 will be a critical
year in regards to raising funds for our club. We now have two very easy ways to
help raise funds just by grocery shopping!
At Kroger, just swipe the enclosed Kroger Share Card before
paying.
At Randall’s, you must already have a Remarkable
card and then just fill out the Good Neighbor Program form above
and turn it in to the service counter at your local
Randall’s. Note
that our charity number (8977) is already filled in for you. This will link our club to
your Remarkable card and every time you swipe your card prior to
paying, the purchase amount will be credited to our account.
Both stores will pay us a
percentage of total purchases, so if everyone participates, we
should be able to raise quite a bit of money every year just by
grocery shopping.
If you need additional Kroger Share Cards for other family
members, please ask the coach on deck (at both the YMCA and WAC) or
email wmst@wmst.net.

| Swim Shops of the South
West . .
.
A 5% discount on non-sale items, in their store,
for swimmers showing their USMS card - with WMST
affiliation.
Remember, swim shops sets up a stall (with limited stock) at the
WAC every Wednesday from 4 to 6 PM. If there is something
particular that you may need ( a certain size, perhaps) and you
want to make sure the swim shops will bring it up to the WAC, you
can call them earlier in the day (at 281-376-4460) to arrange for
them to bring it.
