White Group
This is our entry level group. Our youngest swimmers
(4-8) learn basic competitive swimming skills and strokes, with a
focus on freestyle and backstroke. Competition: Sizzler Meets for 8 &
Unders

Red Group
From the White group, athletes move into this
group. Athletes in this group focus mainly on learning four legal
competitive strokes, having fun, and perfecting start and turn
technique. Competition: Sizzler Meets
for 8 & Unders: B-C & Sub-Jo Meets.
Red Group Coach: Tom Cuticchia & Terrell Woods
Blue Group
From the Red group, athletes move into this group.
Athletes in this group have completed the Silver Group move-up
skills list. This group is exposed to training for the first time
while trying to prepare for the 200 Freestyle and 200 Individual
Medley races. Competition: Competing
at swim meets is highly encouraged at a rate of about once per
month. Sizzler Meets for 8 & Unders: B-C & Sub-Jo
Meets.
Blue Group Coach: Dolores Campbell
Age Group 2
Novice 11-12 year olds and more advanced 10 & unders
swim 90 - minute practice sessions, with the ultimate goal of
qualifying for Junior Olympic time standards. Emphasis on racing
skills and stroke technique. Competition: B-C & Sub-Jo Meets: Jo & "A"
Meets if qualified.

Age Group 1
From Age Group 2, athletes move into this group.
Designed for swimmers who have achieved Junior Olympic time
standards or on the boarder of qualifying . Introduction to
rigorous interval training. Competition: Sub-Jo, Jo, & "A" level
Meets.
Age Group 1 Coach: Dolores Campbell
Junior Olympic
Group
Designed for committed swimmers who have achieved Junior
Olympic time standards with coaches approvel. Emphasis is on
developing well-rounded swimmers through individual medley
training. Competition: JO & above
meets.
Junior Olympic Coach: Jimmy

Senior 1 Group
Athletes entering this group must display a desire to
begin training on a more committed basis. Competition at swim meets
is expected in this group. Training takes precedence over technique
work for the first time in the athlete’s development.
Athletes in this group train for the 200 Individual Medley and 500
Freestyles.

Sprint Group
Athletes entering the Sprint group must display a strong
desire to perform at the highest level they are capable of.
Training is geared towards individual talents, although a strong
aerobic endurance factor is present. Athletes in the Sprint group
are directed towards making their Southern Sectional Time
Standards.

Animal Group
Serious
swimmers who achieve Sectional qualifying time or who have coach
approval may advance to this group provided they commit to the
intense training program. The ultimate goals are to compete at the
Jr. Nationals, Senior Nationals, and Olympic Trial level.
Competition: "A"
level meets, Sectionals, Jr. Nationals, Senior Nationals, and
Olympic Trials.
