Snowfox manages several
active programs to aid members in their fundraising efforts.
Members have the opportunity to sell program ads and sponsorships
for Snowfox meets, and they can also use scrip. There’s
something for everyone.
Read this FAQ for answers to common questions about Snowfox
fundraising.
How do
these programs work?
The scrip program is
one option for families to meet their fundraising target.
Members purchase gift cards and a percentage will be put back into
their fundraising account. For example, order $100 in
Hy-Vee gift cards and you will get a $100 gift
card, plus you will earn $5 for your fundraising account.
Each company sets their own payback rate. For Hy-Vee we
purchase the cards and they give us an extra 5% in cards. We
earn our 5% when the cards are sold. Other companies may
present the face amount of the gift card but deduct the percentage
they charge Snowfox from that amount.

available?
Great Lakes scrip
program
The Great
Lakes Scrip Program is used by Snowfox to offer you more
options to use your everyday spending to help pay for
swimming.
Many retailers participate in the
Great Lakes Scrip Program. You can find a list of
participating retailers here. All it takes is a little bit of planning to take your
daily purchases and make them multiply.

Hy-Vee scrip cards
We offer Hy-Vee (5%)
scrip cards in $25, $50, and $100 denominations for your grocery,
pharmacy, and fuel purchases. And when combined with Great
Lakes scrip, there’s almost nothing you can’t purchase
with scrip.
Program
ads/sponsorships
Friends, families and
businesses can also provide sponsorship in the form of
advertisements in the programs distributed at Snowfox swim
meets. The form to sign up for program sponsorship is

How can I
participate?
Orders for
Great Lakes or Hy-Vee scrip will be taken by Mark or Marla Skadsen
on Monday evenings from 5:30-6:45 pm at the YWCA. Please check
the Snowfoxswim.com main bulletin for updates on times when scrip orders may not
be available, such as during holidays or for other schedule
conflicts.
Hy-Vee will be cash & carry
unless we run out.
To place a Great Lakes scrip
order, look over the retail sheet or check on-line for the full
list. Fill out the order form. Orders will be collected on Mondays.
Order forms will also be available at the YWCA and Dow Rummel on
Mondays, and are also available in the swimmer mailboxes at any
Snowfox practice.
If you wish to have a swimmer or
another adult pick up your order you must authorize that on the
form. Neither Snowfox, Great Lakes Scrip, nor Hy-Vee can
replace lost or stolen cards. If you need to make other
arrangements to place or pick up your order you may contact
