Learn To Swim

 

The Clarence Learn-to-Swim offers year round lessons for swimmers interested in learning the four competitive strokes (Freestyle, Backstroke, Breaststroke, and Butterfly). Lessons are split into 10 different levels, each focusing on a specific skill.
Level 1-7 lessons run in half hour classes at the Clarence Middle School pool (Mon/Wed/Sat). Our instructor to student ratio is 1:4.
Level 8-10 lessons run for full hour classes at the Clarence High School (Tues/Thurs), and the Clarence Middle School (Sat).  Our instructor to student ratio is 1:7.
Adaptive Learn-to-Swim lessons are for children with special needs. Lesson are held at the Clarence Middle School on Monday and Wednesday evenings from 7-7:45 pm. our instructor to student ratio is 1:1.
 
Fall 2009 Announcements

 

-ALL LESSONS CANCELLED SATURDAY OCTOBER 24, 2009. The make-up date will be Saturday November 28, 2009 at the Clarence Middle School (lessons held at regular times).
-LESSONS CANCELLED THURSDAY OCTOBER 29, 2009. The make-up date will be Friday November 6, 2009 from 6-7pm at the Clarence High School.
-A reminder that there are no lessons November 11,, 2009.
- A reminder that there are make-ups for the Monday 6:00, 6:30, and 7pm classes on November 30, 2009 at the Clarence Middle School.
-We apologize for the delay, but suits are not yet in. We will be sending out an email when they arrive.
- Please note that we are unable to accommodate make-up lessons. Please only attend your scheduled lesson day and time. Switching classes is not permitted.
-When you see Coach Colleen or an instructor working with your children on deck, please allow the instruction to be completed prior to presenting any concerns you may have. Our attention while on deck is focused on the swimmers. Coach Colleen welcomes any comments, suggestions or concerns via email or telephone.

Bathing Suits

 

Bathing suits will be handed out to NEW swimmers only the second week of each session.

 

If you would like to purchase a suit the cost is $25.00 for boys, and $28.00 for girls.

We also have goggles ($10.00) and caps ($3.00 or $12.00).
